Sunny Patchwork Vest

This Patchwork Vest pattern is a simple no-piecing technique. It's fun laying out the pieces, just like putting a puzzle together!

Using the design from one of the fabrics, I enlarged it for the appliqué on the back.

Notice the detail of the couched treads. I used 4 strands of pearl cotton (2 blue and 2 green), machine couched with variegated metallic thread in a 3 step zigzag.

After the appliqué was sewn to the vest back, I added bugle and seed beads for detail.
