Air Brushed Kimono Jacket |

Kimono Jacket was pictured
in the article "Easy Curve Piecing" in Issue #72 of THREADS magazine!

A
very loose fitting and unstructured style that lends itself to a variety
of great looks. I used Marlis Kuusala's wonderful airbrushed
"dragonfly" design. In order to make the most of the fabric, I
cut it apart using my curve piecing technique and "built" the fabric
to make the jacket.
Tiny dragonflies were machine embroidered along the kimono style band using a variegated metallic thread, as shown in the detail photo. Make your own Dragonfly Stitch!
