Mary Mashuta used our #1007 Kimono Jacket & Vest pattern to design this dynamically pieced jacket for the book "Dressed by the Best" from That Patchwork Place . It's even reproduced on the cover in glorious detail.
Mary has been a quiltmaker since the early 1970's. Her books include: Stripes in Quilts, Story Quilts: Telling Your Tale in Fabric and Wearable Art for Real People. She is an eight time Fairfield Fashion Designer, and teaches lectures and workshops for quilters and wearable artists.
And in case you're wondering... the pants are the "Panel Pant" from The Sewing Workshop.
