Leaf Painted Samurai |
| The November 2003 Issue SewNews magazine has an article I wrote on Leaf Painting. In addition to the table runner and napkins in the article I constructed the Samurai Shirt & Trousers to coordinate with the Fall theme accessories! |

I used Ivory Jacquard Rayon for the body of the shirt and trimmed it out with Multi Leaves - Earth cotton print. I used 5 colors of metallic textile paints. Russet, Copper, Gold, Olive and Bronze. |
| The facings were also done in the cotton print and allowed to peek out like a piping. Leaf Buttons are from JJ Handworks. |  |
