For this version of Sahara I used Batik Rayon for the vest and Sueded Rayon for the top and skirt. The vest fabric was made by using a "quilt 'n shrink" technique that creates a great textured surface. The beauty of making your own quilted fabric is you can use it where you want to. I made the collar, hidden placket, armhole binding from the "un-quilted" batik rayon. The Sahara skirt was embroidered with a Viking Designer 1 in Sulky rayon, using the design on opposing corners (front & back) of the skirt. The matching top is from Nepal without the button plackets.
Lynn is our Production Manager and a great sport when being roped into modeling at shows!
