Quilted Sahara

For this Sahara vest and long skirt I used Taupe Sueded Rayon. The vest fabric was made by using a "quilt 'n shrink" technique that creates a great textured surface. The beauty of making your own quilted fabric is you can use it where you want to. I made the collar, hidden placket, armhole binding and long skirt from the smooth sueded rayon. The matching top is from Nepal without the button plackets made from "Floral Beige" batik rayon.
