"Color Blocked QE2 " |
| For this unlined, View B of the QE2 Jacket I used Kona Cotton for the pieced jacket in Spruce, Berry Bright Pink, Deep Blue, Jade, Bright Periwinkle, Cerise, Royal, Lime and Dk. Violet (1/4 yard each color). The "Midnight Dots" batik cotton fabric was used for the undercollar, center squares and trim. Black Nordic Fleece for the Sleeves and Collar Facing make a snuggly soft jacket. For added embellishment, a variety of yarns were sewn to the cotton strips and the sleeves and lower edge are bound. Cervatino Buttons close it with a festive air! |

A 1/4" trim was added to the lapels from the same dot batik used in the center squares. |

Sleeve detail. Various yarns were machine couched to the fleece using a 3-step zig-zag stitch. |
