| Appliqué Fabrics |
Just
about any fabric will work for an appliqué as long as it doesn’t
ravel excessively and can be ironed at the temperature used
to fuse appliqué film (usually wool/cotton setting). Some
of my favorites are: UltraSuede® & UltraLeather® or any ‘fake
suede’ fabrics. Very small printed cottons (because of the
small pieces a large print doesn’t show up). Fabrics with
a fine texture or interesting pattern (usually found in the
bridal dept. of fabric stores).

Fabric Paints: ‘Tube’
paints for outlining, stencil paints can be used for stenciling or
applying with a brush.
Make sure your paints are specifically designed for FABRIC, they’re
washable and colors don’t fade.
Fusible Web:
(a bonding material to fuse fabric to fabric, we recommend Steam-A-Seam).
Transfer Pen (to copy design to your sweatshirt) Beads make
great embellishment and add texture.
Shoulder Pads:
3/4” tear drop or drop shoulder style.
