| Just
a large open space. Only stud walls, a tiny bit of insulation and
temporary light fixtures. My son liked the *roller rink* aspect.
Great for riding bike, skateboard and roller blades! (Boy, is he
going to miss that!) |

Beginning
to frame in where the garage doors are, changing it to windows and
a people door. |
| A
partition wall is put up to separate the studio from the warehouse.
A large opening is left for double doors. |
 |
 |
Plumbing
was added for a 1/2 bath (a necessity don't you think?) with another
utility sink on the warehouse side for manufacturing and future
workshops. |
| Windows
are roughed in. We added 13 windows to the building. Natural light
is a must for creativity! |
 |
 |
Windows
are added to all sides. Front door is in and new siding applied. |
| The
warehouse gets light throughout the day with windows on all sides.
And it's much nicer to look out at the trees! |
 |
 |
Insulating
is not a fun job, but a must for a quiet cozy workspace! Thanks
to Jeremy and Malynda for doing great work!
We're
just about ready for drywall!
|
| Drywall
goes up. Taping and texture are next! |
 |
 |
The
space seems even bigger with a ceiling! |
| Seems
like a big jump to go from drywall to flooring, but the guys doing
the wall work were great. Hang, tape, texture was done in speedy
fashion, and the painter zipped in and painted in one day. |

 |
Wonderful
flooring makes it seem like home (Probably should be, since I
spend more time in my studio than at home...)
Had
to use my favorite color, a soft mossy green speckled carpet with
green accents in the vinyl.
